Tao Dick Chakela

Tao is a Kingston-area real estate professional known for delivering thoughtful, results-driven guidance to buyers, sellers, and investors. Originally from Belleville, he studied Mining Engineering at Queen’s University and spent his early career working across Canada in the mining industry before ultimately choosing Kingston as home. That transition reflects the same practical mindset and long-term thinking he now brings to real estate.

His interest in real estate began nearly a decade ago when he purchased his first home and transformed it into a duplex rental. That hands-on experience sparked a lasting passion for renovations, property management, and real estate investing, while also giving him a nuanced understanding of the Kingston market. He went on to build a portfolio of real estate investments adding both single family and multi unit properties to his investment strategy.
